Our Spiritual History
The people of Newfoundland and Labrador have always sought after God. Our provincial
motto, "Seek ye first the Kingdom of God", states this. The cross is at the center
of our flag. Even the names of our cities and towns refer to our desires - Trinity,
St. John's, Harbour Grace, Hearts Desire, St. Anthony.
